The 2025 ASEAN Advanced Automotive Manufacturing Summit once again demonstrated Ringier Events’ commitment to empowering Southeast Asia’s manufacturing community. With over 100 delegates, high-level speakers, and a well-curated factory tour, the event delivered exceptional value and strengthened industry collaboration.

The 2025 ASEAN Advanced Automotive Manufacturing Summit opened amid the vibrant industrial landscape of Cikarang—Indonesia’s most influential automotive and manufacturing hub. As the center of activity for major industrial estates such as Delta Silicon, EJIP, Jababeka, and Suryacipta, Cikarang has long been the driving force behind Indonesia’s automotive production strength. The region is populated by a dense network of Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, tooling and machining specialists, plastic and chemical material manufacturers, electronics producers, and rapidly expanding EV technology providers. Its strategic proximity to Jakarta and strong global investments from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, India, and Europe have made Cikarang the beating heart of Indonesia’s push toward flexible production and next-generation EV solutions.

It was in this dynamic setting that the summit welcomed over 100 delegates from across the region, including OEMs, end-user manufacturers, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, automation companies, and industry decision-makers. The atmosphere was energetic from the moment the doors opened. Delegates arrived with curiosity, enthusiasm, and a clear desire to deepen their understanding of how the automotive sector is evolving within Indonesia and ASEAN.

Throughout the day, participants engaged actively with speakers, raising pointed, technical questions that showcased their eagerness to learn. They explored topics ranging from Indonesia’s automotive market outlook and EV component innovation to digital transformation, Industry 4.0 implementation, casting modernization, lean production systems, and international quality standards for EV and autonomous vehicle manufacturing. Insights came from a first-class lineup of experts, including leaders from GAIKINDO, Chery Indonesia, Astra Otoparts, Kalista, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia, APILINDO, Yamaha, PT Trimitra Chitrahasta, and Bosch Rexroth. Their presentations ignited conversations that continued long after each session ended.

Business Partners

Supporting the strong speaker lineup were the summit’s business partners, whose displays enriched the event with hands-on, technology-driven perspectives. Jainnher Machine Co., Ltd, known globally for its precision grinding machines, attracted high interest from delegates seeking advanced machining solutions for automotive components. DOMO Chemicals also brought valuable insights to the summit through its display of high-performance engineering materials used extensively in mobility, electrification, and lightweight applications. Their presence provided delegates with a tangible connection to the latest technologies shaping component design, durability, and production efficiency.

The event also benefited from the support of important association partners whose collaboration added depth and credibility to the program. The Indonesian Automotive Parts & Components Industries Association (GIAMMI), the Indonesian Electric Vehicle Industry Association (PERIKLINDO), and the Indonesia ISO Expert Association (IIEA) played a meaningful role in strengthening the summit’s industry relevance. Their involvement underscored the importance of unifying various sectors of the automotive ecosystem—manufacturers, suppliers, regulators, and technical institutions—as Indonesia accelerates its EV and smart manufacturing ambitions.

Networking was equally dynamic. The tea breaks became buzzing hubs of conversation where delegates exchanged experiences, compared solutions, and explored new partnerships. Many participants noted that the summit provided a rare opportunity to connect directly with local and international manufacturers and suppliers operating in Cikarang’s vast industrial network.

Factory Tour

The excitement carried into the second day, November 13, when delegates participated in a full-day factory tour that offered a deeper look into the manufacturing backbone of Cikarang and Karawang. The tour featured PT. Unggul Semesta, PT. Trimitra Chitrahasta, PT. Unggul Daihen Technology Center, Suryacipta City of Industry, and TVS Motor Company Indonesia.

Beginning at PT. Unggul Semesta, delegates attended technical presentations and then walked the production floor to observe machining techniques and process precision up close. The next stop at PT. Trimitra Chitrahasta revealed the company’s strengths in metal welding, fabrication, and production discipline—an impressive example of Indonesian manufacturing excellence. At the Unggul Daihen Technology Center, participants witnessed advanced welding automation and robotics systems in action, highlighting how global technology providers support Indonesia’s automotive sector.

The afternoon sessions expanded the learning further. At Suryacipta City of Industry, delegates were introduced to the infrastructure planning, investment strategies, and industrial development vision that continue to attract global manufacturers to the region. The final stop, TVS Motor Company Indonesia, offered an up-close view of motorcycle manufacturing at scale—from assembly to quality assurance—and showcased how international brands use Cikarang as a competitive production base.

Across both days, the summit underscored one key truth: Cikarang is not merely an industrial cluster—it is a thriving ecosystem shaping the future of mobility in Indonesia and the greater ASEAN region. The strong engagement from delegates, the expertise of speakers, the presence of innovative business partners, and the support of leading associations all contributed to an exceptional event that celebrated collaboration and knowledge-sharing.

The 2025 ASEAN Advanced Automotive Manufacturing Summit closed on a high note, leaving participants inspired and motivated to apply new insights to their respective organizations. As organizer, Ringier Events South East Asia is honored to have delivered a meaningful platform that supports South East Asia’s automotive and EV manufacturing evolution. We look forward to returning next year with even more impactful discussions, partnerships, and industry engagement.
