At the K 2025, Chyi Yang Industrial Co., Ltd. showcased its latest generation of multi-layer co-extrusion blown film lines in 3-, 5-, and 7-layer configurations, representing a new era in film extrusion technology. With demand for high-performance functional films surging, single-layer systems can no longer meet the diversified requirements of modern packaging and industrial applications. “Multi-layer co-extrusion allows different materials and additives to be assigned to specific layers to achieve puncture resistance, antioxidant and UV resistance, low-temperature performance, barrier properties, and enhanced structural strength. Each layer can be tuned for lamination, printing, or sealing, enabling flexible deployment in high-barrier packaging films, food-preservation films, and industrial protection films,” according to Renee Kuo, South Asian Sales Manager of Chyi Yang.

In addition, automation features such as automatic air rings, gravimetric dosing systems, and width/thickness control modules have been upgraded from options to standard, aligning with the global shift in blown-film manufacturing toward smart production, higher efficiency, and reduced labor reliance. “By combining mechanical precision with intelligent control, Chyi Yang helps customers achieve stable quality, lower energy consumption, and stronger competitiveness,” according to Ms. Kuo.
