Reliability, precision, performance and speed are areas that  will be the focus of blown film extrusion systems in the  coming year. These are aspects where Kung Hsing (KS)    stands out as an expert and this expertise will be our core strengths now and in the future. We specialize in high-end, multi-layer blown film machines—up to 9 layers—that are built for speed, stability, and consistent film quality. Our systems feature advanced technologies like automatic thickness control, IBC cooling, gravimetric dosing, and rotating dies. These aren’t just machines—they’re solutions designed for serious production.

In particular, machine model KS-ML-7-55 blown film extrusion line is a high-performance 7-layer co-extrusion system designed for demanding flexible packaging applications. This line is capable of producing PE lamination films for food packaging and industrial packaging films, with a specialized formulation developed for high-performance PE sealant films, as well as PA/EVOH high-barrier structures. Its key features include the presence of high output extruders as it is equipped with seven 55 mm “eXtreme” extruders, making this ideal for high-output applications. Each eXtreme extruder delivers up to 150 kg/h, bringing the total extrusion output to 1,050 kg/h.  The system also has an advanced 7-Layer Spiral Mandrel Die, which. Thanks to KS’s proprietary high-precision simulation software, the 7-layer die is capable of self-cleaning, has excellent thermal balance, has uniform flow distribution and stable layer ratios Outstanding film gauge accuracy is guaranteed as the die is designed to achieve an impressive output-to-die-diameter ratio of over 2:1, reflecting its superior engineering. Profile control and precision is achieved as the line is equipped with an automatic thickness profile control system, ensuring gauge variation is controlled within ±2.5%, providing consistent film quality.

The CERTO-Freeze Secondary Cooling System features an optional secondary cooling device, the CERTO-Freeze system that improves cooling efficiency and reduces the bubble temperature by approximately 10°C. It is especially suitable for setups with limited tower height. Operators can switch freely among these modes based on the film characteristics. The system supports both back-to-back and face-to-face configurations, allowing for enhanced film compatibility and winding precision.

Looking forward, KS is committed to green manufacturing. We're integrating recycled materials, bio-resins, and smart automation into our designs, so your production stays efficient and future-ready.  KS machines are trusted by leading producers in over 130 countries and market expansion is also one of our future plans.
