Technology drives industry renewal: Welltec at IPF

From 28-31 January, the Bangladesh International Plastics, Printing, and Packaging Industry Exhibition (IPF) attracted exhibitors and visitors at the Bashundhara International Convention City in Dhaka. Bangladesh is currently in the fast lane of transitioning from traditional processing to modern industrialization, with local market demand for capacity upgrades and equipment precision reaching unprecedented heights. This year's exhibition not only brought together top-tier industry technologies but also served as a significant benchmark for South Asian manufacturing moving toward "high-end, precision, and advanced" development.

At the exhibition, Welltec Machinery showcased two representative injection molding machines. By focusing on the differentiated demands of the local market, these exhibits demonstrated our in-depth understanding of specific industry segments.

In response to the explosive growth in beverage and liquid packaging demand in South Asian region, the 420PET IMM made its debut. Equipped with a high-speed injection unit and a large-tonnage clamping structure optimized for PET materials, the machine clearly demonstrated its stability and reliability in handing large-scale preform production, with overall energy savings of approximately 20%-40%. On site, its precise industrial design and specialized configurations for thick-walled products attracted numerous professional buyers, making it a focal point for discussions on efficient bottle manufacturing solutions.

Meanwhile, the 190D machine demonstrated an efficient production solution for 16 cavity 5L oil bottle caps on site. To meet the stringent requirement of multi-cavity molds for injection pressure and filling balance, the equipment exhibited excellent shot balance and mold clamping stability, with a repeatability accuracy of ±0.01mm for each action. The bottle caps produced on site featured precise thread dimensional tolerances, uniform wall thickness, and no flash, fully validating the model's high-speed mass production performance and quality control capabilities in the food packaging sector. This vividly demonstrated its practical value in helping customers swiftly adapt to high-standard orders.
