With over five decades of expertise in extrusion technology, Kung Hsing Plastics Machinery has become a trusted partner for packaging and film manufacturers worldwide. Offering 3-layer to 9-layer co-extrusion blown film lines, Kung Hsing delivers systems that combine high productivity, precision, and energy efficiency, meeting the diverse needs of today’s packaging, agricultural, and industrial film markets.
Setting New Benchmarks in High-Performance Blown Film Production
Kung Hsing’s 5-layer high-speed co-extrusion blown film line sets a new industry standard. Equipped with a 300 mm die, the system achieves an output of up to 600 kg/h, nearly double that of many comparable machines. With energy consumption as low as 0.37 kWh/kg, significantly below the industry average of 0.5 kWh/kg, manufacturers can effectively reduce operating costs. Features such as quick-change material die design, recipe memory, and automatic temperature control help minimize material waste while ensuring consistently stable film quality.
KS-ML-7-55: The 7-Layer Co-Extrusion Blown Film Line
At K 2025 in Germany, Kung Hsing presented its the 7-layer co-extrusion blown film line KS-ML-7-55, equipped with seven 55 mm “eXtreme” extruders, each delivering 150 kg/h, for a total output of 1,050 kg/h.
The line utilizes Kung Hsing’s proprietary Spiral Mandrel Die, ensuring uniform layer distribution, excellent thermal balance, and film thickness tolerance within ±2.5%. An optional CERTO-Freeze secondary cooling system can reduce bubble temperature by approximately 10°C, making it ideal for plants with limited tower height.
The 3-in-1 winding system provides flexible switching among gap winding, contact drive winding, and typical surface winding, and supports both forward and reverse film winding, allowing stable winding performance across various film structures and applications.

KS-ML-7-55 – Technical Highlights
- Closed-loop thickness control system for consistent and stable film gauge
- Multi-material compatibility, including LLDPE, metallocene PE, HDPE, PP, EVA and barrier resins
