As one of the region’s leading manufacturing exhibitions, the Taiwan International Machine Tool Show (TMTS) 2026—organized by the Taiwan Machine Tool & Accessory Builders’ Association—highlighted Taiwan’s continued strength in precision engineering.
Among them, Greenway, the brand name of Jarng Yeong Enterprise Co., Ltd, highlighted a different kind of value proposition—one that goes beyond machines to focus on process integration and customization.
In an interview with International Metalworking News for Asia, Greenway executives shared how the company is helping manufacturers rethink their production setups through more flexible and application-driven solutions.
From Machines to Process Solutions
For Greenway, the starting point is not the machine—it’s the customer’s workflow.
“When customers come to us, they don’t always know what machine is suitable,” they explained. “So, we analyze their process first.”
Rather than offering a standard model, the team studies the customer’s production requirements, then proposes a solution that may include machine configuration, layout planning, and automation integration.
“We will analyze their work and suggest the right solution,” they said. “We can even simulate it and show them how the process will run.”
This consultative approach has become a defining feature of the company’s offering.
Reducing Setup Time Through Integration
One of the clearest benefits customers are seeing is improved efficiency—particularly when it comes to setup.
“The feedback is very good,” they noted. “We can help customers reduce their setup time.”
The key lies in integrating multiple processes into a single, optimized system rather than treating each machine as a standalone unit.
“We focus on integrating the machine steps,” they added.
By streamlining operations, manufacturers can reduce downtime, improve throughput, and ultimately lower operational costs.
Customization Beyond the Machine
Greenway’s customization capabilities extend well beyond machine specifications.
“We customize according to the customer’s workplace,” they explained. “That includes building plates, gantry loaders, and automation systems.”
In some cases, this means combining multiple machines into a unified production line.
“We can integrate different machines together,” they said. “Loading, unloading, and processing can all be connected in one system.”
This level of integration is particularly valuable for manufacturers looking to move toward automation without completely overhauling their existing operations.
Standing Apart from Standard Machine Builders
While many competitors continue to focus on standardized equipment, Greenway has taken a different path.
“Most competitors manufacture standard machines,” they said. “But we use CNC-based systems and combine them with automatic loading and unloading.”
This approach allows the company to deliver more flexible and application-specific solutions—an important advantage in industries where production requirements vary widely.
It also reflects a broader shift in the market, where customers increasingly prioritize adaptability over standardization.
A Practical Approach to Smart Manufacturing
Unlike some companies that emphasize complex digital systems, Greenway takes a more grounded approach to smart manufacturing.
“We don’t focus on very complicated systems,” they admitted. “We focus more on integration and making the process work better.”
This pragmatic mindset resonates with many manufacturers, especially those in transition phases where full digitalization may not yet be practical.
Supporting a Range of Industries
Greenway’s solutions are applied across multiple sectors, including tooling, automotive, and medical-related industries.
By focusing on process optimization rather than a single product category, the company is able to support a wide variety of applications.
“Our strength is understanding the process and organizing everything together,” they said.
Efficiency and Sustainability Go Hand in Hand
While not framed explicitly as an ESG strategy, Greenway’s solutions naturally contribute to more sustainable manufacturing.
By reducing setup times and integrating processes, manufacturers can: lower energy consumption; minimize idle machine time; and improve overall production efficiency.
“It’s about making the whole process smoother,” they explained.
A Different Kind of Value Proposition
At TMTS 2026, Greenway’s message stood out for its simplicity.
Rather than focusing solely on machine specifications, the company is emphasizing something more fundamental: helping customers find the right way to produce.
As the executives put it: “We don’t just sell machines—we help customers find the most suitable solution.”
In a market increasingly driven by customization and efficiency, that mindset may prove to be a powerful differentiator.
