Chuan Lih Fa (CLF) has been meeting the plastics industry’s requirements with its range of injection molding machine models capable of low cost, reliable and sustainable operations. As the plastics industry takes a direction towards sustainability and smart manufacturing, CLF has gone beyond tradition to provide innovative plastics injection molding machine models with excellent structural designs to seal its leadership in the plastics industry.
For CLF, the past 60 years have brought important milestones that have seen the company transforming into one of the globally-respected manufacturers of injection molding machines. CLF’s three key achievements are in line with its goal to become a leading technology provider, with a complete product line. Starting with small-tonnage models, CLF has steadily expanded to a full product range from 60 to 5,000 tonnes. In recent years, CLF has built a strong track record in large and ultra-large injection molding machines, successfully supporting production line upgrades across industries such as automotive parts, logistics pallets, home appliances, and electronics/technology.

CLF has also focused on continuous innovation and strong customization capability. With 37+ design patents, CLF has consistently invested in R&D and manufacturing optimization. From bumper-dedicated injection molding machines, pallet-dedicated machines, PET-dedicated machines, to four-color injection molding machines, CLF offers high-level customization and cross-industry integration experience—enabling steady growth, diversified applications, and ongoing global market expansion.
To meet the characteristics and requirements of large-tonnage systems, CLF introduced two-platen large injection molding machines. In addition to saving at least 20% floor space, CLF has optimized the clamping structure to improve stability. These machines are especially suitable for large plastic parts such as pallets, logistics sorting crates, construction formwork panels, and wafer boxes. In pallet applications, CLF achieved a record of 85 seconds per shot for a 11 kg pallet.
CLF has been addressing various high-precision requirements, with its R&D team often being able to meet customers’ diverse product needs, thus strengthening their competitiveness. These are reflected in the company’s ability to provide four-color automotive lamp injection molding machines, rPET-dedicated injection molding machines, and wafer box-dedicated injection molding machines.
Through industry–academia collaboration, CLF combines internal expertise with academic research capabilities to develop smart machinery. It continues exploring AI learning and adaptive control, collecting and learning from data to adjust parameters based on changes in material characteristics—achieving optimal molding conditions. This not only reduces defect rates, but also lowers energy consumption.
Long-term market trust and a solid brand foundation
As Taiwan’s longest-established injection molding machine manufacturer, CLF’s most important achievement over 60 years is not a single product or order, but the long-term trust of the global market. Through stable operations and a strong commitment to quality and service, CLF has built enduring partnerships and a respected international reputation.
For CLF, the 60th anniversary is not only a celebration, but a new starting point. Under the theme “60 Years of Precision. Ultimate Performance.”, CLF will launch a series of internal and external activities, including: a global customer appreciation event, inviting partners from Taiwan and overseas to celebrate together. CLF is also putting up a 60th Anniversary brand section on the company’s official website and at international exhibitions, showcasing CLF’s key milestones over the past 60 years.
CLF also plans internal employee activities to thank every team member for their long-term dedication—because the company knows that reaching 60 years is the shared achievement of CLF employees, customers, and partners.
Over the next five years, CLF will focus on three main directions. CLF will continue developing 3,000-tonne and above large injection molding machines. It expects to deliver a 5,000-tonne machine this year, and provide total solutions for industries such as automotive, logistics pallets, and recycled-material applications. In advancing smart machinery, low-carbon manufacturing, and AI adaptive technologies, CLF is set to introduce more data monitoring, energy management, and system integration to help customers achieve ESG and carbon-reduction goals. It will also continue developing AI adaptive technologies and applying them to injection molding machine solutions.
CLF has been exporting to more than 70 countries over the past 60 years and the company will continue expanding in North America, Southeast Asia, and Latin America, strengthening local service capabilities and enhancing CLF’s global brand influence. It plans to optimize its existing high-performance models, with further breakthroughs expected in precision control and energy efficiency. For CLF, 60 years is not an endpoint—it is the beginning of the next generation.
Innovations in plastics injection molding systems
Chuan Lih Fa (CLF) has been making significant impact in the global plastics industry through its innovative plastic injection molding machines, among them the outward toggle tube plastic injection molding machine (TWII), the co-injection multicolor plastic injection molding machine (TWR/TWIIR), and the two-platen plastic molding injection machine (TPII).
CLF-TWII Series: Powerful injection molding machines
With focus on eco-friendly concept and as part of its innovation efforts, the CLF-TWII Series, a large and powerful injection molding machine, has been equipped with outward toggle and wide mold-clamping mechanism. A result of years of research and product development undertaken by CLF, this model is the integration of high-quality, energy-saving, high-speed, great precision and high-capacity system. It features a newly designed mechanism for outward toggle type combined with wide mold-clamping for greater efficiency. With a new appearance sheet metal design coupled with the latest technology allowing for better accuracy and streamlined operation, the machine is equipped with accumulator, high speed single-cylinder injection system. Thus, the whole system has the advantages of high-speed, precision, high-rigidity, and low deformation.

The CLF-TWII Series is an ideal choice for real-world applications such as: automotive industry for the production of bumpers, dashboards and deep structural components; industrial manufacturing for the production of large containers, pallets, heavy-duty parts, etc.; consumer goods such as deep cavity storage bins, ergonomic designs requiring dimensional precision; and packaging such as for high volume production of deep-draw containers and trays.
CLF-TPII Series: Optimized space utilization and enhanced efficiency
CLF’s two-platen plastic injection molding machine, the CLF-TPII Series Two Platen Injection Molding Machine featured several notable design changes aimed at improving efficiency and space utilization. By reducing the number of platens from three to two, CLF’s engineers have managed to cut the machine’s footprint by 15%,
allowing manufacturers to save valuable factory floor space. This innovation is especially important for businesses operating in smaller facilities where space optimization is crucial. Furthermore, the TPII machine is designed with high rigidity, which has been rigorously tested and proven to ensure minimal mold deformation during operation. This rigidity is particularly beneficial for manufacturers that require both speed and precision in the clamping process, as it helps maintain the accuracy and quality of the final products.

Another important feature of the TPII model is its ability to accommodate larger and more complex processing items. For clients that demand multi-color or multi-set injection molding, the machine can be customized with a rotary table, which allows for the production of a wide variety of finished products. This adaptability makes the TPII an attractive option for manufacturers that require flexibility in their operations, particularly in industries like automotive, consumer goods, and packaging, where product variation is key. Additionally, CLF has introduced a new method for changing molds on the TPII machine. Instead of swapping molds through the top of the machine, molds are now changed from the side. This adjustment significantly reduces mold change times and eliminates restrictions related to factory ceiling height, making the process more efficient and less dependent on facility constraints.
