Radici Chimica Deutschland celebrates 25 years of operations

To mark the anniversary of its Tröglitz plant, the company opened its doors to employees, families and local stakeholders, sharing its journey of industrial growth and environmental achievements, including a 92% reduction in direct greenhouse gas emissions over the past 15 years.

The Open Day, held on Saturday, June 6, provided an important opportunity to engage with the local community and share the values that guide the company’s daily operations: product quality, technological innovation, environmental responsibility and the highest safety standards.

Throughout the day, participants were invited to visit the plant on guided tours, so as to gain a better understanding of the adipic acid production process and the technologies employed at the plant, a modern chemical manufacturing facility featuring state-of-the-art production systems. The adipic acid produced by Radici Chimica Deutschland is used in a wide range of industrial sectors, including textiles, automotive, electronics, and the production of polyurethanes and engineering polymers for high-performance applications.

Particular attention was also devoted to the environmental results achieved by the plant. Over the past 15 years, direct greenhouse gas emissions have been reduced by 92% through a series of investments and efficiency improvement measures.

“Celebrating the 25th anniversary of our plant together with our employees, their families and the local community is particularly meaningful to us,” said Jens Metzner, plant manager of Radici Chimica Deutschland. “This Open Day provided an opportunity to showcase the work, competence and daily commitment of our people, who represent the company’s true value. We are proud of the journey we have undertaken over the years and of the results achieved in terms of innovation, safety and environmental sustainability.”

Today, with 181 employees, Radici Chimica Deutschland is one of the leading industrial companies based in Chemiepark Zeitz. The Open Day gave visitors the chance not only to learn more about the plant’s production processes, but also to discover the expertise and professionalism that contribute every day to the company’s development and its strong connection with the local community.
