BOGE is sending a strong signal for continuity, future orientation, and the long-term development of the family-owned company: Julia Meier-Scheuven has joined the business. As a member of the owner family in the fifth generation, her entry combines entrepreneurial tradition with a clear perspective on BOGE’s future strategic development.
“This move reinforces the owner family’s long-term commitment to BOGE’s independent, sustainable, and internationally focused growth. Julia Meier-Scheuven’s appointment sends a strong message—both within the organization and to external stakeholders, of stability, responsible leadership, and a clear commitment to the company’s future,” say Nalin Amunugama, General Manager, BOGE Asia Pacific.

Julia Meier-Scheuven brings with her a strong combination of academic and practical experience. After studying Industrial Engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt, she gained valuable experience as a project manager at Lödige Industries in Paderborn, particularly in international industrial projects within the automotive sector. In addition, she deepened her industry expertise through activities within the BOGE distribution environment, gaining important insights into market dynamics, customer requirements, and international sales structures.
At BOGE, Julia Meier-Scheuven takes on the role of Business Development Manager with a focus on the company’s international development. She will particularly support growth and expansion opportunities in international markets. As part of the operational team, she will work together with colleagues across the organization to position BOGE sustainably and successfully for the future.
The next generation is deliberately joining the company at a time when BOGE is further expanding its position as an independent premium provider of compressed air and gas solutions worldwide. In recent years, Wolf D. Meier-Scheuven, great-grandson of company founder Otto Boge, had already laid the foundation for this step by gradually withdrawing from the operational business and creating space for a professional, independently operating management team as well as the structured development of the ownership organization. In his role as shareholder, Wolf D. Meier-Scheuven has continued to support the company closely together with the advisory board and in regular exchange with the management team, Dr. Sebastian Göbel and Dr. Björn Six.
“With Julia Meier-Scheuven, this strategic direction is now being consistently continued, as a combination of family responsibility, entrepreneurial foresight, and operational involvement. In doing so, BOGE is strengthening its foundation for a successful future as an innovative, family-owned industrial company,” Nalin says.
