The 22nd International Precision Engineering and Manufacturing Technology Exhibition and Conference – MTA Vietnam 2026 will officially take place from July 1–4, 2026, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Tan My Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

The 22nd International Precision Engineering and Manufacturing Technology Exhibition and Conference – MTA Vietnam 202

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Statistics Office, the city's economy recorded an impressive 8.27% growth rate in Q1/2026 the highest in the past five years while the Industrial Production Index (IIP) surged by 11.0% year-on-year. Notably, the mechanical engineering sector, a fundamental pillar of the city's industry rose by 11.3%, reflecting a strong structural shift toward smart manufacturing, automation, and value-added production. A growing number of enterprises have successfully transitioned from contract manufacturing to high-tech fabrication, while accelerating digital transformation and deepening their integration into global supply chains.

This positive growth momentum creates immense opportunities to elevate the localization rate of key industrial sectors to 40–45% and fuel the development of strategic, tech-driven products. However, to materialize these objectives, businesses must accelerate the adoption of advanced technological solutions to enhance production capacity and meet the increasingly stringent standards of global supply chains.

Capturing this momentum, MTA Vietnam 2026 officially returns to the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), further reinforcing its position as the region’s leading technology and trade platform for the precision engineering and manufacturing industries. Bringing together advanced manufacturing technologies and solutions from key global markets, the exhibition goes beyond product showcasing by featuring live machine operations and on-site demonstrations. These interactive experiences provide businesses with practical access to technologies, helping bridge the gap between investment strategy and production implementation, and progressively transform technological innovation into sustainable competitive advantage.

In 2026, MTA Vietnam continues to expand its footprint with a more comprehensive scale and elevated matchmaking quality.

  • 13,200 SQM OF EXHIBITION SPACE – Creating a massive environment for experiential technology and trade matchmaking.
  • OVER 450 EXHIBITING BRANDS – Converging advanced manufacturing technologies, equipment, and solutions from the global market.
  • OVER 18 COUNTRIES AND TERRITORIES – Including Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong (China), India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, the Netherlands, Turkey, the USA, and more – establishing a diverse, multi-dimensional, global technology ecosystem.
  • 7 INTERNATIONAL GROUP PAVILIONS – Representing China (1), Germany (1), Italy (1), Japan (2), and Taiwan (2) – the powerhouse industrial markets driving global manufacturing trends and technological innovations.
  • THOUSANDS OF INDUSTRY SPECIALISTS AND TRADE VISITORS – Including business owners, plant managers, technical experts, and key decision-makers across the modern industrial manufacturing ecosystem.

Beyond its expanded scale, MTA Vietnam 2026 elevates its international prestige as one of the few platforms in Vietnam to host market leaders, original equipment manufacturers, and pioneering brands driving technological innovations in the mechanical engineering and manufacturing sectors. The event features a prominent lineup of global trailblazers, including Salvagnini Italia S.p.A, Makino Asia Pte. Ltd., Hwacheon Machine Tool Vietnam Co., Ltd., Ace Micromatic International Pvt. Ltd., Yamazen Vietnam Co., Ltd., Yamazaki Mazak Singapore Pte. Ltd., MST Corporation Co., Ltd., Sodick Vietnam Co., Ltd., Van Su Loi Manufacturing - Trading Company Limited, Thinh Qua Trading Service Co., Ltd., Kiheung Machinery Co., Ltd., and Renishaw (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. These industry giants are actively setting new global standards for productivity, precision, and manufacturing capability.

This strategic convergence forms a deep, specialized ecosystem covering the entire manufacturing value chain – from metalworking, sheet metal forming, casting, and mold making to welding, cutting technologies, CNC machining, laser cutting, automation, metrology and testing, heat treatment, compressed air systems, and next-generation industrial solutions. Consequently, rather than merely inspecting isolated technologies, businesses gain a holistic blueprint of the future smart factory alongside a practical roadmap for real-world production upgrades.

NEW HIGHLIGHTS DRIVING VIETNAM'S MANUFACTURING CAPABILITIES

  1. SUPPORTING INDUSTRY SHOW 2026 (SIS)

A key strategic highlight of this year's event is the Supporting Industry Show 2026 – a collaborative initiative between the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in Ho Chi Minh City, the Investment and Trade Promotion Center of Ho Chi Minh City (ITPC), and the Center for Industrial - Supporting Industries Development (CISID). Featuring over 44 prominent supporting industry enterprises from Japan and Vietnam, the show acts as a "gateway to global integration" where local suppliers can align with international standards, engage with potential buyers, and scale up into global supply chains.

  1. SOURCING FAIR FOR SUPPORTING INDUSTRIES 2026 (SFS 2026)

Building on the success of MTA Vietnam 2025, the Sourcing Fair for Supporting Industries 2026 – hosted by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, in collaboration with HEPZA, SHTP, and CISID – reaffirms its role as a strategic bridge between FDI enterprises and domestic suppliers. The program establishes a face-to-face matchmaking platform, enabling Vietnamese businesses to align with the actual procurement demands of global corporations, thereby upgrading their technological capabilities, quality standards, and corporate governance. Far more than a networking event, this serves as a vital stepping stone for local enterprises to integrate deeper into global value chains across high-tech sectors, including mechanical engineering, industrial equipment, and semiconductors.

  1. HO CHI MINH CITY PAVILION

In line with the city's industrial development directives, the Ho Chi Minh City Pavilion – jointly organized by the Investment and Trade Promotion Center of Ho Chi Minh City (ITPC) and the Ho Chi Minh City Supporting Industry Association (HASI), serves as a dedicated space highlighting the manufacturing capabilities and supply competencies of domestic enterprises. Through specialized showcases and direct matchmaking, the pavilion empowers Vietnamese manufacturers to access new markets and secure strategic positions within high-value-added supply chains.

HIGHLIGHT ACTIVITIES

  1. Mechanical Engineering in The Intelligent Age Summit

Making its debut at MTA Vietnam, the Mechanical Engineering in The Intelligent Age Summit is far more than a conventional seminar; it is a vision-driven manifesto: placing engineers at the core of every transformation. Charting the journey from "craftsmanship" to "digital intellect," this dedicated platform pays tribute to the pioneers who laid the industry's foundations, while sparking dialogues on the defining role of the new generation of engineers—those mastering technology, big data, and smart manufacturing ecosystems. It stands as an emotional and strategic touchpoint where the past, present, and future of engineering professionals converge in a single, inspiring journey.

  1. Technical & Specialized Seminar Series

Spanning across the four-day event, MTA Vietnam 2026 continues to develop its specialized seminar series in strategic partnership with the Vietnam Robotics Association (VRA), the HCMC Association of Mechanical Engineering (HAME), VINATEST, the Vietnam Federation of Mechanical Engineering Associations (FMEA), and other international technological organizations, such as Italian Manufacturing Technologies Vietnam.

(Please refer to the event schedule below for more details.)

  1. MTA Automation Competition
