ABU Dhabi Food Control Authority (ADFCA) has clarified that rumours about the ban of the aerated soft drink 'Seven Up' is baseless. The food monitoring body issued the statement following numerous queries from the public and the press about the rumoured ban of the product, purportedly on account of containing poisonous ingredients. The Authority stressed it had not found any health hazards as a result of consuming the drink in question. "I would like to call up on the public not to be swayed by baseless rumours. If any decision is taken to ban any product, we will inform the public about it without any delay through the media as well as on our website," an ADFCA spokesperson said. "If anyone comes across such rumours, please get in touch with us rather than help in its spread by word of mouth. We are not sure about the source of these rumours; it may be an attempt by a competitor to grab more market share. It may have originated elsewhere. Whatever it is, we would like to assure the public that utmost vigil is observed by the Authority to ensure that the food items available in the market are safe," he pointed out.Air Max 95 Flyknit
