8th Leading International Trade Fair for Cleaning in Production and Maintenance Processes

Source: Release Date:2010-05-13 117
NEUFFEN-By focusing exclusively on parts, surface and tool cleaning, parts2clean provides users and suppliers with definitive added value. This benefit has already prompted roughly 110 companies to book their booth floor space more than 10 months before the 8th Leading International Trade Fair for Cleaning in Production and Maintenance Processes opens its doors. The 3rd COROSAVE International Trade Fair for Corrosion Protection, Preservation and Packaging will take place concurrent to parts2clean from 12 to 14 October 2010. "Only" is normally a word that signifies limitation-not so for parts2clean. In this case, the exclusive focus on the process sequence for parts, surface and tool cleaning is the trade fair's recipe for success, which in the meantime has established itself as the leading international trade fair in its field. This is not least due to the fact that nearly all users come to the event with substantial undertakings in mind. "In 2009 as well, we had lots of concrete discussions at our booth, and roughly 40% of the visitors even brought samples along with them, for which they needed cleaning solutions", explains Hans-Jörg Wössner, fully authorised representative of acp GmbH, with regard to his experience at the trade fair. On the one hand it is the large number of highly valuable leads, and on the other hand the continuously growing requirements for efficient cleaning solutions in a wide variety of industries for many different materials that are stimulating demand for exhibition floor space at parts2clean, which will take place from 12 to 14 October 2010. Thus, already at the end of January, just under 75% of the exhibition floor space occupied in 2009 has been reserved. The exhibition portfolio encompasses systems and processes, as well as process media and their conditioning, for degreasing, cleaning, deburring and pretreatment of parts, parts baskets and work-piece carriers, handling and process automation, clean-room technology, job-shop cleaning, quality assurance, test methods and analysis procedures. Cleaning-A Critical Factor in Production and Maintenance Processes The fact that equipment and services for parts, surface and tool cleaning are deemed "critical" factors in the manufacturing and maintenance processes is indicative of increasing worldwide demand: Cleanliness requirements are becoming more and more rigorous along with simultaneously increasing cost pressure and ever stricter environmental regulations. This necessitates cleaning solutions that make it possible to optimise process quality and/or costs regardless of whether simple or highly demanding cleaning tasks are involved. The time required for cleaning frequently plays an important role as well, for example in order to increase production capacity or, where maintenance is concerned, to minimise machine downtime and thus reduce costs. New developments that result in reduced energy and resources consumption are also seen as growth generators in the cleaning industry. These include, for example, the general trend towards smaller cars and engines with reduced fuel consumption, whose components place greater demands on precision, and thus cleaning. Whether photovoltaic or wind power turbines are involved, a great variety of cleaning tasks arises in the field of renewable power generation as well, which have to be implemented cost-effectively in an environmentally sound fashion. Cleaning-A Helpful R&D Tool One aspect that has attracted only minimal attention in the past is the influence of cleaning on component design. On the one hand, a component's layout determines subsequent cleaning requirements to a great extent-for example, a through-hole is usually easier and faster to clean than its counterpart, the blind hole. On the other hand, knowledge of the options made available by the various cleaning technologiesNike Mens Shoes
