The Barcelona Perfumery Congress (BPC) held in Recinto Ferial La Farga Centro de Actividades, Barcelona from June 18-19, provided participants and visitors with a comprehensive sector analysis. The program covered all aspects that impact the industry, with sessions and workshops sharing scientific research, innovations in formulation and packaging, and more. Cutting-edge topics included such as olfactory intelligence, AI-driven fragrance development, sustainable technology, alcohol-free scent innovation, and the emotional and health impact of perfumery.
The two-day event saw the participation of 100 exhibitors and 2,000 trade attendees from 12 countries.

This year's event marked a turning point in the international influence of the Congress. Compared to 2023, the number of international exhibitors tripled, with companies from India, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, the United States, China, Japan, Argentina, Brazil and Egypt showcasing innovations across the entire perfumery value chain.
