Brenntag signs distribution agreement with Calyxia for biodegradable microspheres solutions

Brenntag Specialties, a global leader for innovative specialty and ingredients distribution in Life Science and Material Science, has announced an exclusive partnership with Calyxia to distribute their microspheres and microcapsules-based solutions to Brenntag Specialties customers around the world.

CalyCare™ Gel 100 is a cold-processable, biodegradable gelling agent for oil phases that helps simplify cosmetic formulation. Its spherical powder form improves how products spread on the skin and supports a wide range of sensory effects and textures, from light gelled oils to thicker, balm-like consistencies. It also enhances SPF performance, helps keep ingredients evenly suspended, and extends the release of fragrance. Because it can be processed without heat, it supports more energy-efficient and sustainable production. CalyCare™ Gel 100 can be used in products like skin care, sun care, make-up, and fragrances.
