CH-Bioforce receives COSMOS certification for cosmetic ingredients

CH-Bioforce has achieved COSMOS certification for its cosmetic ingredients XYLENSE® and LIGNENSE®, confirming that they meet the strict requirements for natural origin, responsible sourcing, processing methods and traceability throughout the value chain. Both ingredients are derived from upcycled Finnish oat husk sidestreams and developed using patented BIOFORSENSE technology.

LIGNENSE is a multifunctional lignin providing antioxidant and UV-absorbing properties, with additional research demonstrating antimicrobial potential. Both ingredients are designed to help formulators replace synthetic polymers and microplastics while maintaining formulation performance.
