A cantilevered laboratory vee cone blender is a specialized piece of mixing equipment used in pharmaceutical, chemical, and food, for blending powders and granular materials. The lab-scale mixing machine allows precise, hygienic blending of powders and granules, with a cantilevered mount that improves accessibility and cleaning.
The VCB Series cantilevered mounting system from Munson Machinery supports interchangeable vee cone vessels in six sizes from 0.24 to 15.14 liter for laboratory and small batch applications. It has two inclined cylinders that cause bulk materials to fall, converge and divide with each end-over-end rotation, achieving uniform blends in 5 to 15 minutes typical, with less product degradation than in agitated machines.

Smooth internal surfaces allow unobstructed material flow, as well as complete discharge through a gate valve.
An Intensifier Bar reduces soft agglomerates and improves diffusion of materials, while an optional Dispersion Bar sprays liquid additions onto moving material for rapid distribution throughout the batch.
The lack of residual material and easy access to internal surfaces through the discharge valve and cylinder doors, permit rapid sanitizing and visual inspection of all material contact surfaces.
The control panel on the blender can also be mounted remotely, and allows infinitely variable adjustment of all programmable functions.
Constructed of #316 stainless steel, the unit is available finished to USDA, pharmaceutical or industrial standards.
