As one of Southeast Asia’s most vibrant personal care markets, Thailand attracts global attention for its diverse products and consumer-driven innovation. This was discussed at the 2025 Personal Care Technology Summit led by Ringier Events.

The 2025 Personal Care Technology Summit, organized by Ringier Events gave industry players the opportunity to explore emerging technologies, sustainable materials, and strategic insights shaping the future of personal care across the region. It was held on June 10–11 at Novotel Bangkok Sukhumvit 20.

 

In his opening remarks, Ringier Events Executive Director Mike Hay extended his welcome to participants via video message, and acknowldeged the key business partners: Shanghai Chengxing Machinery & Electronics Co., Ltd; Hangzhou Viablife Biotech Co., Ltd; Dase-Sing Packaging Technology Co., Ltd; Guangzhou Sanrong Material Packaging Co., Ltd; Guangzhou Sungoing Plastic Co., Ltd; Guangdong Gaojieli Technology Co., Ltd; and Odyssey Compliance Incorporation (OCI).

 

Support from Thai industry associations played a vital role in the success of the conference: Thai Spa Association, Thai Cosmetic Cluster Association, and the Thai Package Design Association.

 

 

 

Leading voices from the industry

The speakers discussed product development, sustainability, and market strategy, particularly the production of beauty products using the latest ingredients and technology.

 

Mrs. Lucksupha Prabhawat, President of the Thai Cosmetic Cluster Trade Association and Founder of NZ Professional Skincare and Amartos Co., Ltd, opened the floor with a powerful message on elevating Thai cosmetics in the global arena. Under her leadership, the Thai Cosmetic Cluster Trade Association together with other officials of the association have taken an active role in the promotion of Thai cosmetics manufacturers’ interests and increasing awareness on Thai cosmetics potential in the global market.

 

Mr. Sunai Wachirawarakarn, President of the Thai Spa Association and Managing Director of Aromdlife, explored market trends and consumer behavior across Asia Pacific.

 

Ms. Zeng Xiangtong, Overseas Director of Shanghai Chengxing Machinery, shared insights on equipment innovation for personal care manufacturing, addressing efficiency.

 

Mr. Frank Liu, International Sales Manager at Hangzhou Viablife Biotech, presented breakthroughs in smart whitening and ceramide technologies.

 

Professor Dr. Malyn Ungsurungsie, Deputy Managing Director of S&J International Enterprises, emphasized ESG-conscious product development and the growing demand for ethical beauty.

 

Dr. Thanathat Sonteera, Managing Director of Siam Natural Products, addressed cultural sensibilities in skincare formulation and consumer expectations.

 

Dr. Panupong Leelakjul and Ms. Thiranong Kulsuntipong of Twinplus delivered a session on ODM manufacturing strategies, highlighting personalization, AI diagnostics, and agile production models.

 

Assistant Prof. Dr. Sarita Sangthong, from Mae Fah Luang University’s Green Technology Research Group, introduced the Blue Beauty movement and its implications for reef-safe, ocean-friendly formulations.

 

Ms. Nadha Medhapacharakarn, representing Only Fragrances SARL (France), shared fragrance development insights tailored to Southeast Asian consumers.

 

Mr. Chodnarin Vipada, Secretary General of the Thai Package Design Association, discussed circular economy principles and sustainable packaging design.

 

Mr. Kiattiphumi Saengsorn, Managing Director of Coursemetic Lab Co., Ltd, closed the summit with a presentation on organic materials in soap development and their role in product innovation.

 

The 2025 Personal Care Technology Summit reaffirmed Thailand’s position as a regional leader in beauty innovation. With a strong focus on sustainability, personalization, and cross-cultural product design, the event offered new insights for manufacturers, brand owners, and researchers navigating the fast-evolving personal care landscape.
