Givaudan to acquire majority stake in Eurofragance

Givaudan has reached an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Eurofragance, a pure play fragrance house based in Barcelona, Spain.

Eurofragance is a family-founded fragrance creation house specializing exclusively in the design and production of fine fragrances, as well as fragrances for personal and home care products. With presence across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Latin America, the company focuses on high growth regional markets. it combines a perfumery boutique approach with the latest innovations to deliver distinctive olfactive solutions and fragrances tailored to consumer preferences.

This strategic alliance marks an important milestone in Givaudan’s 2030 strategy, aiming to expand its presence and capabilities across local and regional markets to drive sustained business growth. By combining Eurofragance’s entrepreneurial spirit and strong regional footprint with Givaudan’s global leadership and capabilities, the collaboration will enable both companies to bring unique, locally relevant fragrance experiences to consumers worldwide.

While the terms of the deal will not be disclosed, Eurofragance’s business would have represented approximately CHF 185 million of incremental sales to Givaudan’s results in 2025 on a proforma basis. The closing of the transaction is subject to the applicable regulatory processes.
