Hurco exhibits CNC machine tools at METALEX 2023

Hurco, a leading manufacturer of CNC machine tools, participated in the METALEX 2023 exhibition, which was held from November 22 to 25, 2023, at BITEC, Bangkok.

Hurco’s VMX30UDi is a simultaneous 5-axis machining center that offers power, speed and unbeatable value for medium-sized 5-axis parts. It has an integrated trunnion table design that provides more clearance in Z-axis and ability to machine heavier parts compared to 3-axis mills with trunnion table added. It also has a 15,000-rpm direct drive spindle, a 40-station swing-arm ATC, and a robust control powered by WinMax® that supports multiple machining strategies.

The response in Thailand was positive, as Hurco received inquiries from the visitors and potential customers at the METALEX 2023 exhibition. The VMX30UDi was one of the most popular products among the Hurco’s CNC machine tools, as it demonstrated its high quality and performance in various applications.

Meanwhile, Hurco also demonstrated its U series Trunion Table 5-Axis VMC Inline 15k rmp spindle with a familiar chess piece, the Knight at the METALEX 2023 exhibition. This is a versatile 5-axis machining center that can handle complex parts with ease. The 15K rpm inline spindle ensures a superior surface finish quality, while the 250mm diameter Trunion table design reduces tool interference during machining of small parts. It also features Hurco’s patented UltiMotion® technology, which reduces cycle time and improves surface finish by eliminating unnecessary machine movements. The VMX30UDi and its showcase was well received by visitors, as shown by the numerous pictures and videos taken by visitors of the chess set that was machined live at the show.
