K-beauty brand RIMAN has announced its proprietary Centella asiatica variety, Giant BYoungPool™ has been granted a 20-year Plant Variety Protection (PVP) by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
The approval formally acknowledges the distinctiveness and authenticity of the plant variety, and grants RIMAN exclusive rights to its cultivation and commercialization.
Developed through years of research, Giant BYoungPool™ has larger leaves and higher concentrations of active compounds, compared to conventional Centella asiatica, thus enhancing its efficacy for skincare applications.
Giant BYoungPool™ is cultivated at RIMAN’s smart farm in Jeju Island, South Korea – also the world's first smart farm for Centella asiatica – where precision-controlled conditions ensure consistent potency, premium quality, and sustainability.
