Quadpack rethinks the application of lightweight skincare formulas by addressing typical pain points such as imprecise dosing, product waste and messy application

It’s a tottle, but not as you know it. With Mahina, beauty packaging manufacturer and provider Quadpack transforms an everyday format into a desirable skincare tool. Designed for low-viscosity formulas, the tottle is equipped with a cold-touch, roll-on applicator, which enhances performance and delivers a sensory user experience. Dosage is targeted and controlled, while application is mess-free, thanks to an on/off locking system. What’s more, the pack’s modular design allows easy separation for refilling and recycling.

Inspired by Mahina, the lunar deity in Hawaiian mythology, the tottle has a metal ball that delivers immediate freshness -- described by Quadpack as a cool touch of moonlight. The formula is gently massaged onto the skin, which promotes formula absorption in a comfortable selfcare gesture. The packaging is not just functional; it becomes something users want to use daily.

“We introduced Mahina Tottle to rethink how lightweight skincare formulas such as oils and serums are applied, addressing the limitations of traditional packaging,” explains Senior Category Specialist Mateia Crippa. “By combining a controlled roll-on delivery system with a cooling metal applicator, it enhances the sensory experience and the effectiveness of the formula through a targeted massage. At the same time, the modular and refillable design answers the growing need for more sustainable, scalable and premium packaging platforms.”
