The Int’l Exhibition Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2024 returns from March 13th - 15th at SECC, HCMC

Accompanying the plastics and rubber industry in Vietnam for over a decade, the 11th edition of Plastics & Rubber Vietnam exhibition will take place from March 13th -15th, 2024 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), District 7, HCMC. The event is recognized as one of the prime opportunities for foreign key players in the plastics and rubber sectors to penetrate Vietnamese market, connect with local manufacturers who are actively seeking new technologies to innovate their production lines.

In 2023, foreign investment inflows into Vietnam saw a significant increase of 32%, reaching nearly $36.62 billion (Ministry of Planning and Investment, 2023). The plastic market in Vietnam is estimated to reach 10.92 million tons in 2024 and 16.36 million tons in 2029, with a CAGR growth of 8.44% in the forecast period (Mordor Intelligence, 2023). Additionally, Vietnam earned $2.89 billion from exporting 2.14 million tons of rubber last year.

In the midst of this growth, Informa Markets brings Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2024 back to Saigon Exhibition Convention Center (SECC) from March 13th to March 15th. The show is expected to gather 100+ exhibitors from 14+ countries and regions, covering a gross space of 3,300 sqm. With an estimated 6,000+ trade visitors, this exhibition will assist exhibitors in building an expansive network with key decision-makers in the plastics & rubber industry in Vietnam.

In addition to the exhibition activity, the show is undoubtedly an unmissable opportunity for key buyers and the entire community to discover leading product innovations. It also provides a platform to stay updated on the latest technological, operational, policy, and market trends through numerous seminars covering topics such as manufacturing, distributing raw materials & additives in plastic products, sustainable & recycling solutions, etc.

With a diverse range of showcased products, including machinery & equipment for the plastic and rubber industry; raw materials; additives; semi-finished products; technical components & reinforced plastics; general services; research & science, Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2024 is an excellent trade forum for plastic manufacturers and processors. It provides an opportunity to present products, build brand image, explore new cooperation opportunities, and identify economic potentials in the Vietnamese market and region.

The plastic industry in Vietnam plays a crucial role in supplying materials to many key industries, including packaging, electrical and electronic, construction, automotive, household products, etc. Plastic packaging, among these sectors, holds the majority market share of plastics in Vietnam, contributing to over 60% of the country's annual export revenue (Vietnam Plastics Association). Looking ahead, by 2024, the rubber market in Vietnam is predicted to have a successful year. Export levels are expected to increase by 10-17%, driven by strong demand from both the domestic and global markets.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Thang, Deputy General Director of VietNhat Plastic Production Co., Ltd, shared in the last edition of Plastics & Rubber, which took place last year in Hanoi: “The exhibition brings many opportunities and value to our company. It allows us to seek partners, suppliers, and obtain plastic molds and packaging labels.”

Additionally, Mr. Joachim Lim, General Director of HASCO Singapore (PTE) Ltd, stated, “We have participated in the Plastics & Rubber Vietnam exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi for years. The exhibitions have been very successful, demonstrating that Vietnam is a potential market to promote plastic and rubber products. We definitely plan to return and participate in the Plastics and Rubber Vietnam exhibition this year.”

With over 10 years of presence in the plastic and rubber industry in Vietnam, Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2024 promises to provide an open exhibition space, effectively connecting suppliers and business customers.
