Over 1,200 exhibitors gather at Intelligent Asia 2023
TAIROS2023, also known as the 2023 edition of Intelligent Asia, one of the largest industrial procurement platforms in the region, has commenced its proceedings in Taipei. With over 1,200 companies participating, the event showcases groundbreaking innovations across a wide range of technologies, including automation, robotics, and logistics, encompassing nearly 4,500 booths.
This expansive trade show, which also features several other crucial manufacturing sectors such as 3D printing, molding, fluid power, laser technology, and the cold chain, as announced by the organisers. Under the theme "Building Twin Transition Ecosystems," Intelligent Asia's focus this year is on green transformation, low-carbon practices, sustainable energy solutions, and intelligent factory innovations, as highlighted by the organisers.
Green Transformation and Digital Innovations Take Center Stage
The expo's emphasis on green and sustainable practices, along with its focus on intelligent factory solutions, has paved the way for a more environmentally friendly future for industries across the region. The networking opportunities, business interactions, and knowledge exchange that occurred during the event are expected to make a significant contribution to the advancement of the automation and robotics sectors in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
In the area of green transformation, CHELIC's (台灣氣立) upcoming research and development efforts will primarily focus on two key areas: "Green" and "Energy Saving". The company has already obtained ISO 14001 and ISO 14064-1 certifications. This year, CHELIC has introduced a range of vacuum products, including Vacuum Ejectors. These ejectors not only reduce air consumption but also achieve vacuum adsorption, resulting in lower carbon emissions. In response to the increasing demand for smart products, CHELIC has also introduced a flow meter that includes a carbon emission calculation feature. This upgraded version includes a communication function that automatically calculates the cumulative gas flow and converts it into carbon emissions.
This time, HIWIN (上銀) focuses on the topic of “INDUSTRIE 4.0 Best Partner”, presenting long-term cumulated capability on smart manufacturing. To embrace the trend of ESG, HIWIN is going to roll out the “Green Solutions”, which will demonstrate the unlimited potential of innovation and intelligent energy saving. HIWIN is cooperating with our supplier to offer the somatosensory interaction technology offering customers the chance to have educational and joyful experience during the TAIROS this year. By simulating how HIWIN products are being used in the Semiconductor, Automation, and Industrial Machinery industries, we can gain a better understanding of the diverse applications of HIWIN products.
And this is eye-catching: At TOYO Automation's (東佑達) booth, there are unique electric cylinders, micro-sized servo cylinders, and electric grippers. The micro-sized servo cylinder series features a re-engineered servo motor for exceptional performance. The electric grippers offer high-precision clamping force and positioning control, enabling rapid open-close actions. TOYO aims to be a reliable provider of technology and services in the global automation industry, with a specific focus on eco-friendly automation components. Established 13 years ago, TOYO Automation Co., Ltd. has successfully balanced investments in research, manufacturing, and marketing. This strategy has earned them the second-largest market share in the global and Asian single-axis robot market. The company aims to achieve the top position within five years, said the TOYO president.
