Sussex IM, a Wisconsin-based custom plastic injection molder, has announced a series of leadership appointments to position the company for its next growth phase. Megan Tzanoukakis, who joined Sussex IM in 2014 as Vice President of Supply Chain, has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer. She will be joined by three new members of the leadership team: Chief Technical Officer Christopher Everson, Chief Operating Officer Kyle Kopp, and Chief Financial Officer Justin Guagliardo.

Keith Everson, the current CEO of Sussex IM, will become Chairman after serving the company for 42 years—27 of those as acting President. The new leadership team will take Sussex IM to the next level, and Keith Everson is confident they will keep Sussex's family culture and integrity moving forward.

Megan Tzanoukakis, who graduated from Marquette University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accounting, is a Certified Public Accountant and Supply Chain Professional. As VP of Supply Chain, Tzanoukakis enhanced the utilization of Sussex IM’s ERP system to increase inventory accuracy and develop the fulfillment business. She is passionate about the importance and necessity of plastics in suitable applications, along with looking for ways to bring additional value to the company’s customer base.

Chris Everson, who has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Marquette University, came to Sussex IM in March of 2022 as the Director of Project Engineering. Before Sussex IM, he spent ten years in engineering at Husco. As Chief Technical Officer, he will oversee the Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and Technical Services departments to launch Sussex IM into a new era of customers and capabilities.

Kyle Kopp, who will lead Sussex IM as the COO, has vast injection molding experience and started his career in plastics as a mechanical design engineer. With a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from UW-Stout, Kopp has been in the industry for 20 years, holding engineering, sales, and management positions. As COO, Kopp looks forward to continuously improving processes on the journey to operational excellence.

Justin Guagliardo, who earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from UW-Oshkosh and is a Certified Public Accountant, joined Sussex IM in 2021. He has been responsible for managing and analyzing forecasting and budgeting and overseeing several other financial and systems-related processes. As CFO, Guagliardo will lead Sussex IM’s financial operations and execute financial initiatives and processes to support the company’s growth and profitability.

Keith Everson and Dave Guagliardo, former CEO and CFO, respectively, will retain ownership of the company and work in partnership with the new leadership team in an advisory capacity. They will support the leadership transition throughout 2023.

Sussex IM has been an accomplished custom injection molder for over four decades, serving as an essential supplier to the world’s biggest brands. The company offers Design-for-Manufacturing expertise and 3rd party management relations for dynamic problem-solving capabilities for production molding while supporting integrated value-added operations. Sussex IM delivers a competitive advantage with its innovative resource for automated assemblies, molding, and decorating.
