The Philippines’ beauty, wellness and personal care industries are on full showcase at Cosmobeauté Philippines from 4-6 June 2025 at the World Trade Center Manila in Pasay City, Metro Manila.
The B2B beauty event reveals the growing capability of small to well established manufacturers from across the country as well as in Asia and Europe, with 250 exhibiting brands and companies on the floor. These companies cater to the needs of specialists in the beauty and wellness sector, including dermatologists, estheticians, cosmetic scientists, stylists and beauty therapists.
The country’s growing reputation in OEM/ODM manufacturing is one to consider by those seeking professional services in product formulation, packaging, and branding.
Overseas exhibitors from mainland China, South Korea, Indonesia, Israel and other countries who see potential expansion in the Philippines, are interested in partnering with local companies. This is not surprising given that consumption of beauty and personal care products recorded a growth of about 10%.
Products range from age-defying serums and creams to medical equipment, and an array of finished products including colognes, hair care treatments, nail care products, and face makeup. In packaging, assorted bottles and stand-up pouches lead the range.
“The journey towards Cosmobeaute Philippines 2025 is an interesting and empowering one. This edition holds importance as it sets the latest trend and standard in events focused on skincare and cosmetics in the country,” said Rungphech Chitanuwat, Country General Manager for Informa Markets Philippines, show organizer.
Experts gather for Asian Societies of Cosmetic Scientists (ASCS) conference
An important part of this three-day event is the 17th ASCS Conference, concurrently held with Cosmobeauté Philippines. Day 1 saw presentations from Shiseido Innovation Center, LÓreal Singapore, the ASEAN Cosmetics Association, and the Seoul National University Hospital.
Under the theme Empowering Cosmetic Science, this key gathering will showcase oral and poster presentations submitted to its organizer, the Philippine Society for Cosmetic Science, Inc., and discuss research and trends related to beauty technology and digital applications, beauty innovation and raw materials, packaging and finished products, beauty tradition and evolutions, beauty safety and efficacy testing, as well as natural resources for new ingredients.
More expert talks and competitions
Seminars including GS1 Philippines’ presentation on barcode and product identification, and beauty trends from Cosmopolitan Philippines took place on the first day. No beauty event is without the MakeUp Box, the stage for makeup tutorials and demos, showcasing beauty products and fashion trends.
Makeup competitions are being held. On day 1, stylists battled it out in Eco-chic: Ultimate Artistic Hair and Makeup Showdown, while on Day 2, the Bridal Makeup Competition will take place. Finally on Day 3, the Professional Aestheticians Association of the Philippines will hold the Beautelympics, or the competition for microblading and nail extensions.
