After two years of postponement, VietnamPrintPack will return to in-person with physical and virtual exhibition from 21 - 24 September 2022 at Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC).

As the epidemic eases in Vietnam, the country's borders are fully opened to international tourists as of March 15. Travellers to Vietnam are no longer required to present a negative COVID-19 test prior to their entry into the country.  The Vietnam market is starting to adapt to the “new normal” and gradually recover from COVID-19. Besides, the capital flow affected by the Ukrainian-Russo conflict, the implementation of free trade agreements such as EVFTA and CPTPP, and the government's efforts to promote preferential policies are driving to attract foreign investment. The Foreign Investment Agency (FIA) statistics showed that a total of 4.42 billion USD of foreign investment was disbursed in the first three months of 2022, up 7.8% year on year. This has encouraged international traders to explore this potential market, and concurrently reactivated Vietnam's economy in the post-pandemic era. Vietnam's economy is expected to rebound to 7.4% in 2022, leading the economic recovery in Asia.

Realising this huge potential, more and more renowned international exhibitors have regained interest in the Vietnamese market and hoped to get reconnection after a two-year separation through the exhibition platform. During this period, the strong growth of the food & beverage industry as well as e-commerce in Vietnamhas resulted in the increased demand for packaging in the country. According to market research firm FiinGroup's database, in 2020 and the first four months of 2021, Vietnam recorded 56 newly-registered foreign-invested projects in the packaging industry at a total of VND $516 million. Vietnam's printing and packaging industries are currently under the ideal timeline for market expansion.

Following the booming investment wave, the upcoming 20th Vietnam International Printing & Packaging Industry Exhibition (VietnamPrintPack) will return on September 21 - 24 at Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC) in response to the expectation of global industry players. VietnamPrintPack will provide an efficient and fruitful sourcing platform for local manufacturers and exporters in both industrial sectors, allowing them to access comprehensive exhibits, including wide-ranging machinery equipment, parts and components, as well as materials and supplements.
