Actega DS at K 2013

Actega DS joins K 2013, the largest trade show for plastics and rubber which takes place from 16-23 October in Düsseldorf/Germany.

The company shares a stand with Eckart, Stand E 16, hall 5. In the line of business “Sealant Compounds for Food and Beverage Closures” the product range covers innovative sealants for crown corks, aluminum-, metal vacuum- and plastic closures.

To comply with the increasingly stricter demands on sealants the PVC-free sealant PROVALIN? for metal vacuum closures was developed and successfully introduced into the market. This sealant complies with EG- and FDA specifications and fulfills the demands of freedom of DEHP and other dubious plasticizers. The recipe of the compounds is based on Thermoplastic Elastomers which can be melted and brought into the desired shape when heat is applied. Because of its tremendous elasticity, high thermal and chemical resistance, numerous advantages concerning manufacturing and recycling TPE occupied center stage at Actega DS since years. This counts also for the line of business “Medical Grade Plastics” which will present numerous applications at the K-Fair, too.
