Additive-free vegetable snacks

THE NEW Snex range of ovenable vegetable snacks from Scelta Mushrooms is free of artificial additives and meat. The products, which come in five packaging of 1kg, are full of clearly identifiable vegetables and are kosher and Halal.

The snack packs, introduced to the MEASA region at the recently held Gulfood comprise varieties of mushroom, mushroom with spinach, mushroom with broccoli, ratatouille, and sauerkraut.

Scelta’s unique Ecopouch procedure enables boiling of daily fresh mushrooms in their own juice after packing. It does not use chemical additives and salt. The mushrooms blend the best of fresh and preserved mushrooms. In addition to the fresh taste, the products have a long shelf life and their umami-rich juice can be used as a 100% natural base for soups, sauces, and stocks.
