Advanced Petrochem and SATORP sign agreement for propylene supply

Advanced Petrochemical Company (APC) and Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemicals (SATORP) signed a contract that will increase supply of propylene to APC to 80,000MT/year.

The first agreement was for the supply of 50,000MT but additional supply of propylene has been made possible with the signing of another contract for a 30MT /year to ensure supply to APC.

The duration for the supply of entire 80,000MT/year will cover 3 to 5 years duration and will start on 1 January 2014. This will guarantee steady supply of propylene to APC which will contribute to increased the production of polypropylene.
