Agro exhibitions set in Myanmar and Cambodia

MYANMAR and Cambodia’s economies are mainly supported by a fast-growing agricultural industry. These countries exhibit strong market growth. In fact, Cambodia is now being hailed as Asia’s New Tiger Economy by the Asian Development Bank. Myanmar is likewise opening up to the world.

There are two new trade events where companies can showcase products and equipment and meet local distributors and dealers in the agricultural sector. These are the International Exhibition & Conference on Agriculture for Myanmar which takes place from 8–9 August at the Phnom Penh Hotel in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and the 2^nd International Exhibition & Conference on Agriculture for Myanmar is scheduled from 28–30 September at the Myanmar Convention Center in Yangon. Both events were launched in Vietnam in November 2015 and in Thailand in March 2016.

The exhibitions are expected to attract over 2,500 trade professional visitors including distributors, farmers, and agrochemical companies, and discuss business opportunities with about 100 suppliers from China, India, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, Singapore, and Taiwan.
