Air-based purifier fits into existing ventilation system

WHAT are the benefits of automated disinfection of surfaces? Compared to a manual system, it is cost-effective, saving the manufacturer on water, chemicals and energy, and even manpower. Another benefit is that it is efficient and hygienic, being able to clean corners, ventilation ducts and cooling surfaces and reducing the growth of bacteria on surfaces and in the air.

One that can perform these is Jimco’s air purifier. The system enables automatic and chemical-free disinfection of entire production areas including surfaces in food and beverage processing facilities. The Flo-D mini which the company highlighted at ProPak Asia recently, integrates air sterilization and surface disinfection in compact 1660x530x480mm equipment, ensuring added safety against bacterial contamination in processing premises. The Flo-D which fits into existing ventilation systems, has four pieces of 39 watts UV-C lamps and consumes 240 watts.
