Algae-derived Immunum Pro health ingredient

VALENSA (Orlando) has announced it will market the Immunum Pro proprietary immune-health ingredient. Derived from harvested Euglene algae, the “whole food” ingredient provides the highest level of beta-glucan from any natural source, the company said.

The Immunum Pro yields at least 65% 1,3 beta-glucan by weight without additional processing. It will be marketed in supplement formulations combined with other ingredients.

Biotech company Algaeon (Indiana, IN) will produce Immunum Pro exclusively for Valensa. Algaeon, which specialises in algae cultivation and related ingredients such as astaxanthin and beta-glucan, will use closed-system technology in producing the Immunum Pro.
