Ampacet expands global capacity

Ampacet Corp. has opened its first plant in China in May and will add plants in Brazil and India by the end of 2010. Ampacet抯 Chinese plant is located in Shanghai. The site employs 12 and will operate at least two twin-screw extrusion lines producing colour concentrates. The Shanghai plant will serve as a distribution site and will include testing equipment such as a multilayer blow moulding line. In India, Am pacet will open a plant to make white and additive concentrates in Pune in the fourth quarter of 2010. By 2013, the new plant should beoperating three twin-screw lines with annual capacity of more than 30 million pounds.
