AMUT and Dolci Bielloni merger

A stronger entity results from the merger of AMUT and Dolci Bielloni. The new company, AMUT Dolci Bielloni, is expected to create significant synergies together and become a major player on international markets. 

 

This latest AMUT acquisition completes a process the company has undertaken since 2011 with the entrance of Fondo Italiano di Investimento (an investment fund) into AMUT's shareholder structure. The company earlier entered into a merger with COMI in the field of thermoforming and ECOTECH for recycling.

 

The strength of AMUT Dolci Bielloni will be clearly evident at PLAST 2015 (Milan, 5-9 May 2015) where the AMUT Group will occupy a bigger booth and display complete production lines, from flexible film extrusion to the extrusion and molding of rigid products and thermoforming. 

 

 

Riccardo Castello, now general manager of AMUT DOLCI BIELLONI, said that the first line to be demonstrated at a planned factory tour will produce 7-layer stretch film 2000mm wide and features an impressive 6 extruders to produce wound rolls manually or automatically. The second one will show a production of 1500-mm 5-layer stretch film, ideal for the production of jumbo rolls. 

 

The goal of AMUT Dolci Bielloni is to build a robust productive and financial organization to establish a solid Italian hub to compete with major international players. The new company will not only produce stretch film plants, but also continue the Bielloni tradition of flexographic printing machines, roller mills, laminators (wet or solventless), slitter-rewinders and, as Dolci Extrusion, it will continue to develop, build and sell its own stretch lines and also lines for polypropylene, bubble wrap, extrusion coating and lamination.
