Anchor adds hinged 3-compartment to RPET line

A NEW three-compartment 9” is the latest addition to the Gourmet Classics? line of hinged RPET containers from Anchor Packaging Inc. The compartments eliminate the cost of pouches or portion cups to segregate food items while reducing carbon footprint for products like pre-packaged salads.

With the salad greens, protein and toppings in their own sections, this new package keeps the food looking fresh and appealing while segregating flavors until customers are ready to eat.   

Gourmet Classics hinged containers are the perfect solution for grab and go food service. The elimination of condensation while in the refrigerated case, owing to the unique cold temperature anti-fog technology in the lid, gives the food that “just made” appearance, even when packed at a central kitchen.   

Packages are made with a minimum of 10% US FDA-approved post-consumer RPET (#1) and remain eligible for recycling after use. The new 9” 3-compartment joins the 1-compartment 6”, 7.5” and 9” deep and shallow packages from 14 to 40 ounces, sized perfectly for small and larger portion sizes.
