[Arabplast 2013] Arburg to focus on efficiency through its high-performance machines

Source:ARBURG Release Date:2012-11-20 329
Plastics & Rubber
At the Arabplast in Dubai, to be held from 7 to 10 January 2013, Arburg will focus on the topic of production efficiency and exhibit a representative of its high-performance Allrounder Hidrive machine . A hybrid Allrounder 720 H in the “Packaging” version will produce thin-walled IML containers in a cycle time of under five seconds.

Efficient production means achieving optimum quality at minimum unit cost. For this purpose, all areas and influencing factors must be examined and taken into consideration over the entire value-added chain and an individually-customised injection moulding solution configured in each case. Here, examination of the value-added chain begins with product design and extends across mould, machine and peripheral technology, including configuration, through to process integration, process control and production planning. Arburg possesses sound expertise in all of these areas and is able to comprehensively support its customers in the realisation of efficient moulded part production.

At the Arabplast, Arburg will present a highly sophisticated application for the packaging sector. The machine belongs to the high-performance hybrid Hidrive series, which is characterised by high productivity, speed and energy efficiency, and covers a clamping force range from 600 to 5,000 kN. The exhibit, an Allrounder 720 H in the “Packaging” version, is adapted to the application-specific requirements of the packaging sector and features a clamping force of 2,900 kN and a size 1300 injection unit. The high performance of this machine will be impressively demonstrated with a high-speed in-mould labelling application at the trade fair. The exhibit will be equipped with a 4+4-cavity stack mould from Erkoc Mold and will produce thin-walled IML tubs in a cycle time of under five seconds. Insertion of the labels, as well as moulded part removal and set-down will be performed by an IML system from Roboplas. Arburg's booth is located at Stand D110 in Hall 5.
