NATPET: Polypropylene products
The National Petrochemical Industrial Co. (NATPET) has built a 400,000 MT/year polypropylene (PP) plant in Yanbu Industrial City on the west coast of Saudi Arabia. The plant produces a wide range of PP product mix of (homopolymers, random & heterophasic copolymers) suitable for a wide variety of applications. NATPET has acquired state of the art Spheripol? process to produce PP from LyondellBasell.

QAPCO: LDPE
QAPCO was established in 1974 as a joint multinational venture to utilise the associated and non-associated ethane gas from petroleum production in line with the industrialisation plan of the State of Qatar. Main products of the company are ethylene and LDPE. Solid sulphur is generated as a by-product in the process.
