Arcam wins EBM system order from Chinese institute

NASDAQ Stockholm-listed Arcam has secured an order for an Electron Beam Melting® system from an institute in China.

 

Arcam’s EBM technology offers design freedom, excellent material properties, and high productivity. The order will mark continued growth in the company’s markets in China and Asia, according to CEO Magnus René. 

 

“Last year's rapid growth in Asia means that almost 30% of our business now comes from Asia," Mr. René added. 

 

Providing cost-efficient additive manufacturing solutions for metal components manufacture, Arcam is an innovative partner for advanced manufacturing, particularly in the aerospace and medical industries. The Mölndal, Sweden-based company offers EBM systems through Arcam AB in Sweden, powder metals through AP&C in Canada, and implant contract manufacturing through DiSanto in the U.S.
