The ARIS (Automated Retinal Imaging System)

The ARIS™ (Automated Retinal Imaging System) is a patented, fully automated system that images the inside back surface of the eye (the fundus), that includes the retina, without requiring a highly trained specialist to operate.

The ARIS™ essentially automates the entire procedure for acquiring high-quality retinal images.

ARIS™ received FDA clearance to market in November of 2002, and Commercial production and shipment began in 2004.
