The ARIS™ (Automated Retinal Imaging System) is a patented, fully automated system that images the inside back surface of the eye (the fundus), that includes the retina, without requiring a highly trained specialist to operate.
The ARIS™ essentially automates the entire procedure for acquiring high-quality retinal images.
ARIS™ received FDA clearance to market in November of 2002, and Commercial production and shipment began in 2004.
ARIS™ At-a-glance
ConstantBaseStereo™
Virually eliminates variability in stereo image depth...from operator-to-operator, and visit-to-visit.
BichromaticImageNavigation™
Allows for better visualization and documentation of both retinal surface and choroidal pathology.
RSVP™ (Remote Stereo Viewing Platform)
Simplifies Multiple Location Acquistion, Transmission and Viewing of Images.
These unique ARIS™ features contribute to superior performance when compared with conventional fundus cameras.
