Arwani exec reveals company portfolio

Arwani Trading Company LLC represents various European manufacturers covering a wide range  of  industrial machinery in the United Arab Emirates. Established over 30 years ago, the company is specialises in wholesale, distribution and retail of these machineries. Speaking to International Metalworking News – Middle East & Africa (IMNEA), Marc Borlinghaus, Business Development Manager at Arwani Trading Company LLC, shares his company’s portfolio.

IMNEA: What are the primary applicative focuses of your products?

BORLINGHAUS: Arwani deals with a wide range of products mainly air compressors, power tools, automotive garage equipment, welding machines, welding wires, CNC cutting machines, tools, machinery and consumables for the construction industry and wood working machines.

We offer all sorts of machines retailed to metalworking, be it cutting or bending of metal sheets, welding, plasma cutting or production requirements.

IMNE: Please describe the company’s operations.

BORLINGHAUS:  Arwani is an importer and trading establishment. Operating in the market for 31 years, we are veteran players and have different divisions taking care of different requirements. Our major divisions - industrial, automotive, construction, compressed air, hardware & tools, welding & cutting and wood working - cover the major metalworking industry.

Headquartered in Dubai with branches in other emirates such as Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Umm ul Quwain, our primary market is the UAE. We however, do export to Yemen, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

IMNEA: What is the company’s best-selling proposition?

BORLINGHAUS: Arwani functions as a specialised trading establishment with a business model focused at providing our dealers with reputed high-quality and cost-effective brands as well as a secured platform to conduct their business.

Our highly specialised sales engineers, trained by our European partners provide expert services and advice best suited for our customers. Autocad designs, 3D layouts, Air Pope Network design
and calculations are a few services at offer.

After-sales services offered by service engineers, technicians include installation services for our equipment all across the UAE. Our engineers are supported by high-tech test equipment such as laboratory oscilloscopes, regulated laboratory power supplies, precision multi meters, digital soldering stations, and torque testing benches.

Our teams of demonstrators focus on specific customer requirements such as welding and automotive, explaining to customers how their products are to be deployed.

IMNEA:  How was your experience in the recent Steelfab industry?

BORLINGHAUS:  Steelfab is a regional platform that brings together, trading and manufacturing partners, customers, marketers and all sorts of stakeholders within the steel and metalworking industry. We have been active participants since seven years. The last two years were a bit downhill as the region was still recuperating from the financial crunch but this year looks particularly positive.

We have been receiving a lot of inquiries, more visitors and frequent orders from repeat and new customers which makes the whole scenario quite affirmative. 

We do have an extensive sales force that is focused on handling customers directly with a bit of indirect marketing too but the market demands direct contact with the end-users. Hence we ensure that we maintain a strong presenceArtículos deportivos para ni?os
