Asahi Kasei Plastics expands in Mexico

Asahi Kasei Plastics N.A. Inc. is commemorating its 12-year anniversary with the opening of a new sales office in Mexico ("Asahi Kasei Plastics Mexico") further expanding its global presence. The new facility is strategically located in the Metepec Business Center of Toluca supplementing the firm's four warehouses in San Luis Potosi, Puebla, Torreon and Monterrey

Asahi Kasei Plastics is expanding worldwide with new facilities, distributorships and license agreements to provide local service and support to global customers.  The opening of an office in Mexico is a strategic move for the company.

The Michigan-based subsidiary of Asahi Kasei Chemicals Corporation boasts one of the largest manufacturing facilities for the company outside of Japan.  Additionally, Asahi Kasei Plastics is the largest glass reinforced polypropylene manufacturer in North America.  With sales growing globally, their unique product portfolio is solving complex engineering problems.
