Aseptic carton bottle has high-density PU barrier

WITH a new high-density PU-based barrier material in the package top, the world’s first aseptic carton bottle from Tetra Pak can now be used for products with oxygen-sensitive enrichments.

The Tetra Evero Aseptic (TEA) is suitable for drink categories such as enriched ambient white milk, dairy alternatives, flavored milk, and toddler and baby milk. The new package was launched after a successful pilot run with Granarolo, Italy’s leading dairy company, for its Accadi enriched lactose-free product range. The package will help dairy producers expand their dairy drink categories such as vitamin-enriched milk or soy milk using the same packaging and processing machines.

Tetra Pak's TEA features a cylindrical carton body with flat side panels for easy holding. It has an injection-molded plastic top for easy pouring like a typical bottle. Its unique geometry and large 360-degree printable surface also allows for marketing creativity.
