Baking oven for filled or unfilled wafer sticks

AN automatic wafer stick-baking oven, the EWB-R IND, was among specialty equipment shown by Franz Haas at the recent ProSweets in Cologne, Germany. Used either for unfilled or cream-filled wafer sticks (wafer flutes), the EWB-R IND features a baking ring with electric induction heating that is environmentally friendly with no hazardous emissions, a high heat efficiency of more than 70%, and low operating noise. Operation is simplified via touch screen controls. Baking temperature control is automated to assure uniform product colouring. All electric and electronic components integrated into the machine; there is no need for external wirings and switch cabinets thus making installation simpler installation and reducing space requirements. The design, moreover, contributes to a pleasant working area temperature through all stainless steel panelling with vented side doors. Optional add-on devices allow a wide variety of different end products, such as two-coloured sticks, flattened sticks, fan-shaped wafers or pillow-shaped sticks.
