Baoshan keeps steel product prices unchanged

China top ranking s t ee l make rBaoshan Iron & Steel Co. Ltd has decidedto fix the EXW prices of its major plateproducts for February at the same level asa month earlier. The company planned a markupof CNY200 (US$29.29) to CNY300(US$43.93) for its plate products. It changedits mind finally because the plan wasbelieved to have a passive impact upon the2010 iron ore price talks between Chinesesteelmakers and global iron ore suppliers. Baoshan Iron & Steel, headquartered in Shanghai, east China, raised the ex-worksprices of its wire products for February.
