Barry Callebaut appoints CIO

ON December 3, 2012, Peter Boone assumes the role of chief innovation officer (CIO) at Barry Callebaut AG. He will be a member of the Executive Committee and will report directly to the CEO Juergen Steinemann. Since November 2010, Mr Boone has worked as vice president for Marketing Australasia and was a member of the regional executive board of Unilever. As chief marketing officer, his responsibilities included all brands in all categories in Australia and New Zealand. Mr Boone holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (Ph.D.) from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam (The Netherlands).
