Bericap Singapore marks a milestone

SINGAPORE - Closure specialist Bericap said its closure production facility in Singapore will this year begin producing beverage  closures  for  Thai  customers. This development comes just after a year in which the plant produced closures for the chemical/ technical and edible oil sectors for export to customers in Australia and Asia.

At the end of 2010, when Bericap opened the production site in Singapore the goal was to successfully advance its closure business from a central location in Southeast Asia and to improve customer service.

During the first year in particular, experienced teams from  China  and Germany  was  on  location  in  a  supportive  role  to  ensure high quality and efficiency.

The Singapore location has a large enough area to expand its product  programme in 2012 and thus double the production of the first fiscal year, Bericap said.
