Big names together to power the world

The annual Power Transmission and Control Asia (PTC ASIA) is landing at Shanghai New International Expo Center(SNIEC) this autumn. Jointly hosted by China Hydraulics Pneumatics & Seals Association, China General Machine Components Industry Association, Deutsche Messe AG and Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd., PTC ASIA will be a four-day exhibition at E1 to E7 pavilions of SNIEC from October 29 to November 1. Big names of the industry will again come together to display their latest technologies and products, preview the industrial trend, and compete with each other in four sectors of mechanical power transmission, compressed air technology, bearings, and fluid power transmission.

As basic mechanical technology, power transmission and control is the decisive factor in the realization of modern factory automation. With its increasing demand, China’s power transmission and control market is drawing more attention from home and abroad. Up to now, all the four sectors have attracted many well-known exhibitors. In bearings sector, Schaeffler and SKF have reserved large booths, and in the sector of mechanical power transmission, the ABB parent company will for the first time make an appearance together with its sub-brands, occupying a total exhibition area exceeding 100 square meters. The exhibition area of electric machine is expected to increase by half a pavilion, a gratifying result compared to last year. Gears area is expecting top manufacturers from Germany with their latest gear cutting machines as well as other equipments. The sector of compressed air technology will have a total exhibition area of 3,000 square meters, a historical high, with global leading enterprises such as Kaeser Kompressoren. As to fluid power transmission, industrial giants like NOK, Sealmaker, Kastas, Dichtomatick, DAIKIN, Toyo Keiki, Sunbun, Leemin, Jincheng, Guorui, STRONGER, Ningbo Zhongyi, Shanghai Yufeng, Ningbo Huali, Wenzhou Yefu, PISCO, Staubli, Chelic, Yantai Future, Fenghua Xinguang, Eternal, Fenghua Jinfeng and NewSun will come on stage with their latest technologies and products.

Featuring high international participation, each year PTC ASIA ushers in large international exhibition groups. As of this year, exhibition groups from Germany, Italy, Turkey, and Taiwan, as well as organizations like National Fluid Power Association (U.S.), American Gear Manufacturers Association and British Hydromechanics Research Association are coming to the exhibition. Domestic groups such as Xinxiang Filtration and Separation Industry Association will also come to celebrate the event with its overseas counterparts.

In addition, eight professional forums will be concurrently held to echo the exhibition theme and the request of “higher energy efficiency” proposed by the twelfth five-year plan. It is hoped that the forums should provide a wider communication platform for discussions between industrial experts, exhibitors and visitors and bring trade opportunities.

As China’s industrial transformation continues, domestic enterprises have slowed down their development and started strategic adjustment in recent years. Under such circumstances, PTC ASIA has come to be an ideal platform, based on which these enterprises are expected to overcome the bottleneck and return to the fast lane. A general manager from an exhibiting enterprise said: “we are very confident about this year’s exhibition, because its internationality and profession can always help us find suited buyers from home and abroad.” In terms of market promotion, PTC ASIA 2012 has been brought in line with VDW Symposium Tour, which was also hosted by Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd in this May.
