BioTech Medical to continue lines with Tempur

NORTH CANTON, Ohio, USA -- BioTech Medical, Incorporated said it still plans to sell a line of medical support surfaces containing TEMPUR material to all healthcare facilities.

The expiration of an exclusivity arrangement originally granted by Tempur-Pedic North America has opened to the acute care channel new opportunities to source patient care support surfaces designed to take advantage of the highly effective pressure redistribution properties inherent in Tempur materials.

"This is a true benefit to all facilities, as they are no longer limited to a single provider and have the opportunity to procure superior support surfaces at competitive pricing," said Cathy Tippey , director of Medical Operations.  

BioTech Medical offers two medical surfaces that contain Tempur material; the BTM Original Healthcare Mattress and the BTM Defined Comfort HC Mattress.
