A LEADER in food safety and security, Blumberg Grain has become a member of The Corporate Council on Africa (CCA), a non-profit trade organisation that ensures stronger business relationships between US and Africa.
“With our company's plans to expand manufacturing into Egypt and Nigeria this is a particularly appropriate time to join CCA. The Council and its members are committed to the betterment of Africa by identifying and helping create business opportunities and strengthening ties between the US and Africa,” said Philip Blumberg, chairman of Blumberg Capital Partners, the parent company.
Blumberg Grain, based in the United States, works with farmers, agri-businesses, and governments throughout Africa, to deploy proprietary agricultural warehouse systems to prevent crop losses and increase food harvests for sale. The storage systems use state-of-the-art technology to shield harvests from rain, rot, insects and other threats, thereby helping reduce food shortage.
