Borouge wins 2 awards for environment and sustainability efforts

 Borouge was awarded two 2010 ADNOC HSE Awards: the Environment and Sustainability categories during a ceremony held in Abu Dhabi on 31 May 2011. An ADNOC HSE Award was granted to Borouge in the Environment category for the Borouge 2 Cracker successful start-up with environmental friendly Nitrogen cool down. A second award was given to Borouge and ADNOC Distribution for their joint waste collection for recycling programme. Borouge recently partnered with ADNOC Distribution to launch a consumer waste recycling project in line with their commitment to environmental awareness and protection and social responsibility. Borouge is a joint venture between the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Austria-based Borealis.
